Your prescription for living well, dose for this week: Sometimes our thoughts get way too loud when we are by ourselves a lot (like after a move or even in the city you’ve always lived in). Healthy distractions have a time + place — a movie, an amazing book, … dive into the worlds of the characters to help lessen the fixation on your own world. Our own internal dialogue softens when we have friends in our lives so take a break while you are in the in-between space of finding your new friends — through character’s stories. You haven’t found that friend group YET, they will come. It’s a matter of time + maybe a bit of healing. Remember, the people you are looking for are looking for you too. Believe you will find each other. 🍃
